The USPTO recorded 1,667 new trademark applications on August 15, 2022, marking a 390.3% increase compared to the previous filing day. This surge in activity was led by Class 41 (Education & Entertainment) with 244 filings, followed by Class 35 (Advertising & Business). Of the day's submissions, 1,269 (76%) were standard character marks and 398 (24%) included design elements. Among the most active filers, Fresh Start Women's Foundation led with 36 filings, followed by NATU THE EAGLE INC. Mengmei Xu was the most active attorney of record for the day.
