Operating an on-line marketplace and exchange for sellers and buyers of parts and accessories for motorcycles in which the buyers may secure product information and may build and customize a selected motorcycle viewed online, with discrete actions by the buyer resulting in addition or deletion of a given standard or custom part or parts to or from the motorcycle being viewed online so that when the buyer is finished there is displayed online a motorcycle custom configured in the manner the customer's motorcycle will appear once the customer has purchased the displayed standard and/or custom parts and has installed those parts on the motorcycle; Providing recorded media from which buyers of such media may secure product information and may build and customize a selected motorcycle viewed on a home or office personal computer which need not be online, with discrete actions by the buyer resulting in addition or deletion of a given standard or custom part or parts to or from the motorcycle being viewed on such computer so that when the buyer is finished there is displayed on such computer a motorcycle custom configured in the manner the customer's motorcycle will appear once the customer has purchased the displayed standard and/or custom parts and has installed those parts on the motorcycle
