Vinyl Fence Replacement Panel System (VFRPS) · Purpose and Usage: Be able to have a sizable vinyl panel that is one piece that can be cut to fit a damaged or change the aesthetic of the existing vinyl fence. This would eliminate costly fence replacement. Allows consumer to go from a semi-private fence to a private fence at a lower cost than replacing the fence · Dimensions: o ¼ inch thickness vinyl o Can be made in various sizes  6 ft x 8 ft  4 ft x 8 ft o Colors can be customized · Functional Aspects of the VFRPS are as follows: o Single panel that allows the consumer to trim to fit the damaged or space between the upper and lower railings and between the support posts. o Adhesive backing: concept here would be to have an epoxy adhesive that specializes in bonding vinyl. o Patterns - the manufacturer would be able to form the vinyl into various patterns. o Fasteners - ability to have fasteners that would help support the adhesive and assist with structural integrity by allowing the consumer to fasten the panel through the original fence to the outside panel. · Assembly: 1. Panel - consumers can replace one panel or both panels on both sides of the fence. 2. Measure the existing space between the railings and posts 3. Custom Fit - depending on the consumer's railing and post dimensions the consumer can use a cutting device to custom fit the panel. 4. Drill support holes in the corners of the panels and in the middle depending on the structure of the existing fence. 5. Apply the selected bonding adhesive to the back of panel or the original fence. 6. Place the panel onto the original fence and adhesive. 7. Place support bolts and nuts to support the new VFRPS panel while the adhesive cures.
