Creating an on-line community for University of the Arts Alumni for the purpose of Reestablish the University of the Arts (UArts) as a university of higher learning with regional accreditation. Advocate for alumni involvement in the governance of UArts, particularly in matters related to its property, intellectual assets, strategic planning and implementation. Preserve and continue the original core values and the mission of the University of the Arts Ensuring responsibility for its new governance and transfer of assets is done ethically and matches the original intent of the University’s mission. Safeguard and preserve the legacy, history, and creative mission of the University of the Arts by ensuring its governance and assets are used for its educational mission; and that its educational mission continues to evolve and benefit future generations. Foster a vibrant and engaged UArts Community (that includes alumni, former students, faculty, staff, and all who have contributed to the UArts experience). Promote communication and professional development within the UArts Community. Support educational initiatives, creativity, and lifelong learning.
