The TravTime software provides the capability of loading, reviewing, processing, and analyzing GPS data that is collected to evaluate travel times and speeds along defined transportation routes; Once field data is collected by vehicles equipped with GPS, TravTime users can process the data to determine a wide range of traffic flow statistics including route travel time, average speeds, intersection delays, stopped time, and run conditions; TravTime will allow a user to view the data with other map information, re-enact the data over space and time, link to road networks, define data collection routes, and to segment the GPS trace for summary analysis; TravTime produces summary tables, charts, and graphs; The software could be used to support speed studies, corridor studies, intersection delay studies, and performance evaluation efforts; TravTime will be packaged with GPS data loggers to provide a complete hardware and software solution
