THE BLACK SYLLABUS Trademark

Reading various black narratives, bringing together books and academic articles in order to create syllabi and facilitate discussions surrounding various topics and authors in Black literature. A typical syllabus will include a book or author that I am focusing on, followed by a summary/review of the book, what the primary themes are of the book, and then a list of suggested academic articles that explore the themes of the book. This will be followed by discussion questions and writing prompts. All the the syllabi will live on a website, and my reading journey will be updated on social media. In the future, I may branch out and start a book club, or host podcasts/facilitate online discussions about the literature I read
