Platform as a Service (PaaS) featuring computer software platforms to facilitate connecting and managing EV and Battery Storage devices and energy management by enabling the creation of databases of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, providing computer software platforms to access information on usage and costs for electric vehicles, and promoting charging practices that are environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and responsible over the long term encouraging users to charge their electric vehicles (EVs) at times that optimize the use of renewable energy sources, reduce electricity demand during peak times, and avoid unnecessary energy consumption to help ensure that the growth of electric vehicle charging is environmentally sustainable, minimizes carbon footprint, and maintains a balanced energy supply; Hosting computer websites for the EV Platform that enables connecting, monitoring, and controlling EV chargers and battery storage devices, offered as software-as-a-service-allowing businesses to enhance the EV-owning experience by enabling home and public charging through the platform, together with pricing, billing, and usage controls-and as platform-as-a-service-permitting businesses to offer a hardware-to-software integrated solution, enabling end users to manage charger or battery hardware maintenance and real-time charging/discharging transactions; Design and development for others of online computer software systems to facilitate regenerative energy generation, enabling users and administrators to monitor and optimize Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as batteries, EV chargers, and EV storage systems, all tracking energy generation and consumption, allowing energy to be fed back to the electric power grid or stored for future use based on the network's requirements; online computer software system to enable conscious wider use of renewable energy sources such as solar panels, wind turbines, or other clean energy technologies with EV charging infrastructure. For example, solar panels installed at charging stations can generate electricity from sunlight, which is then used to power vehicle chargers, effectively recovering and utilizing renewable energy. Sometimes, excess renewable energy generated during periods of low demand can be stored in batteries or fed back into the grid for future use; Regenerative energy generation services tracking the state of charge and status of battery storages and electric vehicles (EVs) to enable charging or grid transmission during peak load periods; energy not transmitted or consumed during such periods is stored in storage units for future use, ensuring efficient energy utilization. By integrating the real-time or historical information of fuel mix used to generate energy for the electricity grid with managed/planned charging operations, the platform offers services to automate charging of EVs based on low-carbon emission periods of the grid according to the fuel mix. The platform helps surface emission data of the energy grid to its customers, enabling users to make informed choices on their charging periods. The platform integrates battery storage charging/discharging capabilities with the local EV charging network to allow customers to switch between the electric grid or local batteries as their power source, orchestrating charging using energy generated, transmitted, or stored during low-price and low-emission periods of the day.
