REPORTFRAUD.GOV Trademark

ReportFraud.gov will promote public awareness of and the need for consumers to protect themselves from fraud by reporting this fraud to the FTC's consumer complaint system. As a website, ReportFraud.gov will first take in complaints that consumers have about fraud and other negative consumer experiences. These complaints will be put into a secure database and made available to law enforcement so that they can investigate and enforce consumer protection laws. The site will then give consumers action steps and other consumer education materials to help them get their money back where possible and to help prevent fraud and navigate consumer issues
