Pyramid Angus is the 'breed type' name to be given to beef cattle that are specifically bred genetically to meet detailed specifications in terms of breed type, ancestry, breed percentages, performance recording requirements and processing at a central location as set forth in the definition of Pyramid Angus cattle; Every beef animal that meets the Pyramid Angus cattle definition requirements will be assigned a unique Pyramid Angus registration number number; In addition, every Pyramid Angus beef animal will be evaluated genetically to determine their individual genetic worth as compared to other registered beef animals for a series of economically important production traits
