Nicotine Reduction Program is structured program to help smokers gradually reduce daily nicotine intake or even quit smoking (this program also can be used as smoking cessation). For this purpose we will use electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs) because e-cigarettes can have variable amount of nicotine in them as well, or be without the nicotine at all. We will provide e-cigarettes with different nicotine levels and one type without the nicotine. Smoker will choose the level that he or she is comfortable with and will smoke these e-cigarettes for 15 to 30 days until smoker get used to electronic cigarettes and this particular level. After, this smoker will get e-cigarettes with nicotine content reduced by 25% to 33 %. This process will be repeated until smoker will reach level with no nicotine at all and start smoking non-nicotine e-cigarettes. At this point smoker would be ready to attempt to quit smoking completely. Nicotine Reduction Program is flexible program that allows the smokers to choose level at which they would like to stop. For example, smoker can choose to reduce nicotine intake by 50% or choose to start smoking e-cigarettes with no nicotine or quit smoking entirely
