NEW JERSEY DWI RESOURCE INITIATIVE (NJDRI) Trademark

The NJDRI has been established to represent the interests of people whose lives have been affected by drunk driving; Our main goal is to ensure that the Statutes and Penalties for Driving While Intoxicated in the State of New Jersey are fair and effective; We provide the public with information in the form of editorials and electronic links to informational resources; We plan to lobby for more effective laws regarding Driving While Intoxicated in the State of New Jersey; We cite many resources that have documented the effectiveness of the Ignition Interlock Device in reducing DWI and Driving While Suspended in other States; We believe, backed by statistical data and study findings, that access to a Conditional Driver's License accompanied by the Ignition Interlock Device would reduce recidivism by Drunk and Suspended Drivers significantly while alleviating the hardship placed on individuals, their family members and society in general by New Jersey's lengthy suspension periods and other penalties
