FINANCIAL BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST Trademark

Persons certified as Financial Behavior Specialist, the certification mark, as used or intended to be used, have the following: (1) a Bachelor's Degree or higher from a Regionally Accredited Institute of higher learning; (2) a license, registration, and/or certification in financial planning and/or a mental health field; (3) met the financial behavior educational requirements of: (a) participation in 24-month training and consulting program; (b) demonstrated competency in 10 Core areas of financial behavior through Financial Planning Institute ("FPl") training/testing or equivalent course work completed at another institution (e.g. Kansas State University's Certificate in Financial Therapy); and (c) participated in an FPI Workshop; and (4) adhered and to continue to adhere to a "fiduciary standard" in interactions with clients and follow the ethics code of either the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards ("CFP") and/or American Psychological Association, depending on Profession; and (5) 20 Hours of Continuing Education Unites ("CEU") in approved courses related to financial behavior every 2 years, either through the FPI or other pre-approved providers
