Providing non-downloadable software as a service for use on a laptop, tablet or other computing device, for the collection, control, evaluation, authentication, tracking, recording, auditing, analysis of, confirmation and reporting of the permanent destruction, either through erasure, degaussing or physical destruction, of data on all types of storage media including but not limited to: optical media, magnetic media, solid state drives, hard drives, thumb drives, and paper. The software may detect or capture QR codes or other media storage device marks, if present, for use in verifying and confirming said data destruction, and for populating results into reporting software.
