CloudLink CX is a software product focused on cyber security. It provides encryption and security policy technology for software applications and computer data. It affords organizations complete and sole control over the security encryption keys used to encrypt their sensitive data as well as the security policies defining what should be encrypted and under which circumstances. It provides persistent protection; ensuring data are always encrypted no matter where they reside or where they go. The efficacy of any security measure is ultimately determined by how easily it is deployed, managed and used. CloudLink CX is designed to deliver industrial-strength encryption in the least obtrusive manner. Its policies are based on existing objects within Active Directory, including users and machines. The CloudLink CX client is deployed automatically and seamlessly to Microsoft( R ) Windows( R ) virtual desktops and virtual app servers via Active Directory( R ) Group Policy. CloudLink CX encrypts data for Windows applications and no changes are required for them to be secured. Best of all, data encryption is completely transparent to end-users. Users are the weakest link in any security measure. Removing their direct involvement in deciding where and when to protect data greatly improves security effectiveness. CloudLink CX's "set and forget" security allows administrators to focus on who may access data, how and from where without having to limit where data are stored, moved to, or backed-up. This approach changes the "decide when to encrypt data" paradigm to the much simpler and easier to manage "always encrypt and decide when access to data should be granted" paradigm. As a result, administrators are liberated from having to create new policy every time a new method of data egress is discovered
