BIMquote is a digital multi-sided marketplace in the Architecture Engineering and Construction industries. Our aim is to connect owners planning to construct a new custom home or addition, on a specified lot, with local service professionals on our platform; while also providing cutting edge technology for the numerous small business entities which are engaged in the physical construction. We integrate the entire new construction team on a project on the owners behalf,: including the architect, designer, engineer, general contractor, to the numerous sub-contractor's, various consultants and material provider's; in such a way as to mimic the categories existing network flow - in a much more streamlined and optimized way then currently achievable. We provide several tools for open discussion and collaboration, by incorporating mid-range level of develop building objects, which are more than adequate for the pre-construction phase; we allow for integrated project delivery methodology(IPD), to incorporate lean building techniques, which drives real collaboration around the Building-Information-Modeling (BIM) technology, by which we utilize both surface and solid modeling formats for clear communication and product specific decision making. By joining the team together around a to-scale virtually designed and constructed (VDC) three-dimensional computer model so early in the project, we are also able to generate valuable outputs for each specific party involved for quoting, estimating material, labor, as well as timing project phases and permitting against each individuals conflicts and regional weather patterns. Therefore, as a project is constructed many issues and procurement decisions can be forecast, visualized, and navigated around much earlier than previously achievable, saving a project from several costly delays.
