ARCHDATA Trademark

Archdata is a computer software application that enables a community of designers, architects, and enthusiasts to gather and share images and information about architecture and interiors. Users contribute to the community by uploading buildings through a web-based interface. Each building upload contains various forms of information including name, year, location, description, architect, and typology. In addition to the uploaded data mentioned above each building contains images. Archdata's images are overlaid with "tags" pointing to specific architectural and interior elements. Each tag contains a description of the architectural element as well as a link to other buildings within the Archdata database that share similar attributes. Users access Archdata's information through the top navigation bar of the website. They have the option to browse sub categories (Buildings, Architects, Tags and Typologies), or enter search terms into the search field. Search results are visually displayed according to their respective sub categories. Archdata is a hosting platform for collaboratively edited references to architecture and interiors. The purpose of the service is to crowdsource various forms of information relating to buildings and their associate architects, materials and features thus providing designers and enthusiast with information and inspiration relating to architecture and the built environment
