ANDROITER ADVANCING THE INTEGRATION OF MEDICAL AND ANDROID DEVICES Trademark

Software application, downloadable, namely for a software that resides on devices that run on the Android Operating System, namely, Android devices are Smart Phones, Smart Tablets, Google TV, Android Set Top Boxes, and Android Headless Black Boxes. The Androiter Application solves two problems. The first is to manage the communications and acquisition of data from Bluetooth Medical Vital Sign Devices. At this time these devices consist of Bluetooth Thermometers, Bluetooth Pulse Oximeters, Bluetooth Blood Glucometers, Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitors, Bluetooth Weight Scales, Bluetooth ECGs, and Bluetooth Sleep Monitoring Systems. The second problem is solves is the communication between the Android Device and the data repository which is typically an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Personal Health Record (PHR)or Health Information System (HIS). The Androiter Application processes the data acquired from the Vital Sign devices and converts it to conform with existing EMR, PHR, and HIS standards based data communications formats such as HL7 Continuity of Care Documents (CCD) and Continuity of Care Records (CCR) data interface standards for passing patient information between different systems. The last part of the application is that it does both of those functions in compliance with HIPAA Security Standards.
